Strength in Sharing: A New Chapter for $LIDIOT

When we launched The Legendary Idiot Club, we had one mission: to create a project that felt different. One rooted in community, creativity, and doing things the right way, even if we had to learn some lessons along the way.

One of those lessons came fast and unexpectedly.

What Happened

In our efforts to protect the project from early sniper bots, those who jump in at launch to buy large amounts before regular holders even get a chance, we adjusted our liquidity strategy. To beat them, we raised the floor price. The idea was to slow down bots and build a healthier start for real buyers.

But raising the price created an unexpected side effect. It required significantly more SOL to deposit more $LIDIOT tokens into the pool. And we were working with limited capital. So instead of filling the pool with more tokens, a large portion remained in the deployer wallet.

That was never the goal.

Once we saw how that played out on-chain, we knew it was time to pause and reassess. Not because we were trying to control the supply, but because we weren’t willing to move forward with optics that didn’t reflect our values.

What We’re Doing Now

We’re redistributing our held supply across multiple wallets, not to hide it, but to visibly decentralize it. This isn’t just a technical fix, it’s a commitment.

Here’s what’s happening:

• Multiple Wallets: The held $LIDIOT will be split across numerous wallets, with no single wallet controlling more than 1% of supply. This aligns with CoinGecko and CMC decentralized listing requirements and reinforces transparency.

• Community Allocation: A significant portion is being reserved for airdrops, loyalty campaigns, meme contests, and community rewards.

• Future-Focused Reserves: A portion of these tokens will be used to build out liquidity, reward contributors, and support long-term project health.
